WORD-right’s kitchen

As a former chef and restaurant owner, I decided to list some of my favourite recipes on our copywriters’ allotment blog.  Some will give you ideas to use your allotment or garden produce, others are simply good recipes which I’ve tried and tested over the years.

Top Tip!

If you have a salad spinner gathering dust in the back of a cupboard, get it out!  It might become one of the most useful gadgets you’ve ever had.

As well as removing the excess water from your salad leaves, you can use your salad spinner to dry off blanched vegetables ready to freeze.  If you’re sautéing your vegetables, give them a spin before popping them in the pan.  That way, you’ll preserve the flavour and keep them crisp and dry.
